Sadie Cochran Hagy

Sadie Lee Cochran Hagy, 85, of Thomasville, passed away Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at her home with her family by her side.

She was born May 29, 1939, in Tazwell, VA.

Sadie was preceded in death by her mother, Minnie Ray Cochran, her husband, John Hagy, daughter, Sharon Hagy, brother, Clyde Bandy, and sister, Nadine Butterworth.

She is survived by her sons, Johnny Hagy and wife Kim, Curtis Hagy and wife Lisa, and Michael Hagy and wife Angela; daughter Valerie Howard and husband Ricky; seven grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 11, 2026, at Wayside Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church, 3035 Upper Lake Road, Thomasville, NC with Pastor Jimmy Garrett officiating.

The family will visit with friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service.

Burial will be 2:00 PM Monday, January 12, 2026, at Oakwood Cemetery in High Point.

Memorials may be directed to Hospice of Davidson County or to Wayside Tabernacle Freewill Baptist Church.
