Ruth Floyd Tyler

Ruth Floyd Tyler, 78, of High Point, passed away Sunday, March 21, 2021, at her home.

Born April 20, 1942 in Conway, SC, she was a daughter of the late O’dell Floyd and the late Elizabeth Harper Floyd.  Ruth was an assembler in the textile furniture manufacturing and was a member of New Life Baptist Church.

She is survived by sons, Earl Tyler and Paul Tyler both of High Point; sisters, Doris Oxendine (Billy Ray) of Archdale, Lois Rogers of High Point, and Joyce Rogers (Robert) of Mullins, SC; grandchildren, Zackery Tyler, Nicholas Tyler, and Michael Folds.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Davis Tyler; son, Dale Tyler, brothers, Rufus Floyd and Marvin Floyd; sisters, Alamae Cox, Marie Rogers, Louise Byrd, and Virginia Hucks.

Memorial services will be held 1:00 PM Saturday, March 27, 2021, at New Life Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Mabe officiating.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
