William Russell Young, 40, of High Point, passed away Friday, August 24, 2018, at his home.

Born April 3, 1978, in High Point, he was a son of Von Deaton Young and Frances Harmon Young both of High Point.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brothers, Mark Young, Paul Young, Jerry Biles, and Joes Biles; and sister, Tabitha Smith.

He’s gone way too soon with no time to say goodbye. You were gone before we knew it and only God knows why. Our hearts still ache in sadness, and secret tears still flow, what it means to lose you none will ever know. Although you’ve passed on before us…you are always in our hearts, and though we’re not together, we will never be apart. To lose you at such a young age, leaves such an empty space…our only consolation, you’re in a better place. Put your arms around him Lord and treasure him with care. For you have in your position a brother and a son beyond compare.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Saturday, September 8, 2018, at Springfield Baptist Church.
