Rusaline Briles Cassidy

Rusaline “Rusty” Briles Cassidy, 83, of Trinity, passed away Friday, April 8, 2022, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born August 18, 1938, in Davidson County, she was a daughter of the late Russell Briles and the late Zola Summey Briles. Rusty retired from Hickory Spring Manufacturing and was a twenty-six year member of Trindale Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Marshburn and husband Jamey of Trinity; granddaughter, Chelley Sonner and husband Nehemiah; great-granddaughter, Kayleigh Sonner; nephews, David Briles and wife Carolyn, Joe Briles and wife Patty, and Jon Briles; and niece, Bobbi Briles Watkins and husband Tim.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Buddy” Cassidy, grandson, Russell Marshburn; brothers, Lee Briles and Marion Briles, and sister, Imogene Briles.

Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Friday, April 15, 2022, at Holly Hill Memorial Park with Rev. Tony Moore officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont, or Trindale Baptist Church.
