Ronald "Ronnie" Gray Williams, 66, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at his home.

Ronnie Gray Williams passed away surrounded by love, leaving behind a life filled with passion, laughter, and cherished memories. He was the beloved husband of Lynn Williams, with whom he shared a deep and enduring bond.

Ronnie had a true love for the things that brought him joy whether it was the roar of muscle cars, the thrill of racing, or cheering on his favorite Carolina basketball team. Those who knew him will always remember his enthusiasm, his stories, and the way he could light up a room with his smile. He was a hardworking and devoted man, spending 28 years at Thomasville Furniture and another 14 years at Edward Ferrell Furniture. His strong work ethic and commitment were evident to all who knew him.

He also found comfort and companionship in his loyal dogs, Gizmo and Roscoe, who were always by his side.

Ronnie’s legacy is one of love, loyalty, and living life with passion. He will be deeply missed by his wife, family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He is survived by his daughters Stephanie McDaniels and husband Steve of Thomasville, Stacy Bennett and husband Chris of Sophia and April Stargardt of Lexington. His sisters Patty Lovingood and husband Jerry of Thomasville, and Debora Tharp and husband Danny of Lexington. His grandchildren Kayla Steinberg (Husband Sam), Grant McDaniels, Mackenzie Bennett, Brayden Bennett, Cory Stargardt (Emily), and Cassi Hoogkamp (Husband Hunter). His great grandchildren Piper, Beckham, Jett, Cayden, Jack, Colton and Lakelyn. He is preceded in death by his parents Jimmie and Corrina Williams. Brother Bobby Phelps and sister Faye Bowman. A celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held on April 12, 2026 at 2:00 where loved ones will gather to honor his memory and the joy he brought into their lives. The celebration will be located at High Point City Lake Shelter #7.
