Timothy Ronald Powell, 56, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born February 23, 1962, in Beeville, TX, he was a son of the late Cranford Powell and the late LaRue Ann Hutchinson Powell. Mr. Powell was a US Navy veteran and a graduate of Liberty University. He was an aircraft mechanic with Haeco and a member of Community Bible Church.

He is survived by his wife, Lorena Blanco Powell of the home; son, Thomas Powell of High Point; brothers, Rick Powell and wife LeAnn of IN, and Mark Johnson of OK; sisters, Tracy Creekmore and Karin Huffman both of CO; and step-mother, Virginia Powell, of CO.

Memorial services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018, at Community Bible Church Life Center with Pastor Bill Simpson officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
