Ron Debord

Ronald “Ron” David DeBord, 69, of High Point, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2024, at his home.

He was born August 19, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Jack Reed DeBord, Sr. and to the late Orlea “Connie” Vickers DeBord. On July 31, 1981, Ron married Deborah Leigh Teague, and enjoyed 43 years of marriage.

Ron loved his family dearly, spending time together and doing things for them was his greatest pleasure. Additionally, Ron loved his “Social Club” of friends that he would regularly chew the fat with. He had a love for Harley Davidson motorcycles, owning several of them.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jack Reed DeBord, Jr., and his sister, Patricia Werner.

Left to cherish Ron’s memory; his beloved wife, Deborah “Debbie” DeBord; son David DeBord and wife Leslie; daughter Laura Shaw; grandchildren, Lea DeBord, Gavin Shaw, Olivia DeBord and Ella Shaw; sister, Vicki LeBrun, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will host a gathering of friends, 5:00-6:30PM Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point.
