Roger Lee Pegram, 72, of Kernersville, passed away Sunday, May 26, 2019, at Forsyth Medical Center.

Born June 19, 1946, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Frank Pegram and the late Emma Freeman Pegram. Mr. Pegram was a machine shop tool and dye maker for thirty years.

He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Marie French Pegram of the home; children, Tanya Hauser and husband Matt of Kernersville, Kenneth Pegram and wife Latrenda of Georgia, and Perry Williams and wife Carol of Kernersville; brother, Ralph Pegram of Madison; sister, Shirley Hardy and husband Dean of Francisco; grandchildren, Rebecca, Shadow, Courtney, Tamra, Erin, and P.J.; and five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six siblings.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Wednesday, May 29, 2019, at Wright Funerals-Cremations.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, in Tanya’s honor, 7027 Albert Pick Rd., Greensboro, NC 27409.
