Robyn Graves Lee, 69, of Clayton, NC, passed away peacefully on December 24, 2025, at the Hospice House of Davidson County, surrounded by loved ones.
Born in Oakland, California, in 1955 to James Donald Graves and Rachel Ferree Graves, Robyn dedicated her life to nurturing and uplifting those around her. She grew up in Clayton, NC graduating from Clayton High School (1974) and was crowned Queen Soya in Clayton, NC (1974). Her family playfully referred to her as the Soybean Queen. Robyn was a devoted mother to Josh and Linzi, and a proud Nana to six cherished grandchildren: Jackson and Haven Lee; Madison, Emma, Noah, and Isaac Berrier. Her greatest joy came from being present in their lives, and she often said her purpose on earth was to be a mom and nana.
She also served as the Crime Stoppers Coordinator for the High Point Police Department, a role she held with pride from 1999 - 2011. Though she attended Union Grove Baptist Church virtually, she remained an active and caring part of the congregation.
Robyn was preceded in death by her parents, James Donald Graves and Rachel Ferree Graves, as well as Beatrice Louise Ferree, Kyvel Gray Ferree, and Jessie Gray. Robyn is survived by her son Josh (Misti) Lee and daughter Linzi (Eric) Berrier, who will forever carry her love in their hearts.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Hospice team for their exceptional care and compassion during Robyn’s final days.
A celebration of Robyn’s life will be held on January 2nd at 3:00 p.m. at Wright Funeral Home, 1720 Westchester Drive, High Point, NC 27262.
The family will visit with friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Union Grove Baptist Church (Church Forward in Faith - Building Fund) or Hospice of Davidson County.
Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point is in charge of arrangements.
