Robert F. Voytershark

Robert F. Voytershark, 86, of Chestnut Glen Way, died peacefully in his sleep in the early morning hours on March 23, 2018.
He was born September 4, 1931, the son of Frank Paul and Muriel Johnson Voytershark of Milford, Connecticut. He attended Milford High School and graduated from Avon Old Farms School, Avon, Connecticut. He attended the University of Connecticut and was a member of Theta Sigma Chi Fraternity. His lifetime was spent in the lumber business in South Florida before retiring in 1992.
He is survived by his brother, Paul Johnson Voytershark, of St Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, his brother’s two sons, Peter and Douglas, and his daughter, Lynn, and their children.
He was a member of the First Church of Christ, Congregational, Milford, Connecticut founded by his fore-bearers who also were one of the founding families of Milford in 1639.
Randall T. Johnson, his longtime friend, and caregiver wishes to thank for their caring service: Guilford EMS (High Point) and the ER and ICU Units of High Point Regional Hospital, Camden Place Rehab and Extended Care, (Greensboro) and especially his caregiver, Ms. Dorothy Williams-Owens.
Bob’s services are private and he is to be cremated and the urn containing his ashes is to be buried alongside his mother and father in Milford, Connecticut.
