Robert Rufus Smith, 72, of High Point, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital.
Born June 24, 1945, in Darlington County, SC, he was a son of the late James Allen Gandy and the late Lilly Mae Smith. He was a US Navy veteran.
He is survived by his son, Anthony Brannon; and daughter, Latonya Mitchell.
