Robert Salisbury

Robert “Paw Paw” Howard Salisbury, 87, of High Point, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2025, at Westchester Manor Nursing Home.

Born December 12, 1937, in Albany, New York to the late Muriel Marion Job. Robert served in the United States Air Force until retirement. He was a fan of racing and even drag raced and raced go karts. He enjoyed building cars, especially Fords.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Crowley Salisbury. He is survived by his children: son, Robert “Bobby” Salisbury (Angela), daughter, Darlene Salisbury; stepchildren: Marisa Bouyett (Gil) and Eric Austin (Vanessa); grandchildren: Tyler Salisbury, Addison Salisbury, Ashlyn Danley, Katelyn Danley, Brayden Austin, Arianna Austin and Brianna Austin.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Marisa for taking wonderful care of their father and to know that she will always have a special place in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2025, at Wright Funerals-Cremations in High Point.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
