Robert David Rogers, 77, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born November 10, 1939, in Williamston, NC, he was a son of the late Wixie Rogers and the late Myrtle Biggs Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a retired cloth cutter with Sara Lee. He loved to visit the mountains, and was honest and kind to everyone. Mr. Rogers attended Laurel Oaks Christian Church.

He is survived by his fiancé of thirty-five years, Phyllis Jones of the home; daughters, Vicki Hayes and husband Michael, and Robin Hayes and husband Danny all of High Point; grandchildren, Michelle, Jennifer, Danny, Kris, Loren, Arden, Alex, Carley, Madeline, Kirstin, and Mason; great-grandchildren, Tristin, Bishop and Elliot.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his siblings, John Haywood Rogers, Russell Rogers, Ola Craddock, Shirley Wynn and Doris Roberson.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Guil-Rand Memorial Park, with Rev. Dean Tsiolkas officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Friday at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
