Robert Earl Martin

Robert Earl Martin, 66, of Archdale, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at Hospice Home of High Point.

He was born August 26, 1958, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Joseph Martin and the late Dorothy Maiden Gammon. Robert served for 20 years with the Guilford County Sheriff Department until retirement.  He suffered with frontotemporal dementia for many years and is now finally at rest.

Left to cherish his memory; his wife, Anita Martin of the home; sons, Chuck Martin and wife Kelly of Pleasant Garden, and Jeremy Whitmon of Greensboro; daughter, Frances Everhart of Kernersville; grandchildren, Walker Cox, Aleigha Cox, and Creedence Cox; brothers, Joe Martin and wife Paula, Michael Martin and wife Chrissey, and Jason Martin and wife Wendy; sisters, Carol Walker and husband Gary and Lisa Martin; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Aucker.

A Gathering of Friends and Family will be from 3:00 PM until 4:30 PM Monday, January 20, 2025, in the Archdale Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations; 10508 N. Main Street, Archdale, NC.
