Robert Keaton "Kee" Hires, 59, of Pfafftown and Archdale died peacefully March 13th, at Hospice of the Piedmont.
Kee was born in Washington DC on April 7, 1956. He was the son of Robert Gordon Hires of Malvern, PA and Antoinette Lupton Hires of Goldsboro, NC.
He was a joy to all who knew him and will be remembered for his love of making friends, eating out, road trips, ferry boats and animals.
He will be especially missed by his sister, Kaila, her husband Rayford, exceptional caregivers and "family" Denise and Jimmie Pickett, and closest friend Pattie Winslow.
Wright Cremation & Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
