Robert Louey Hartzog, 73, a resident of Northpoint Estates in High Point, died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Select LTAC Hospital in Greensboro NC after a long stay at High Point Regional. He had been in declining health for several months.

He was a graduate of the University of Georgia with a BS in microbiology and was a salesman for Amsco before meeting Diane Attkisson in High Point. Together they started specialized furniture manufacturer Artisans' Guild Inc. in 1970, which they sold in 2002 and retired. He was an excellent systems layout designer and gave his time to several companies needing his skills.

He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Diane Attkisson Hartzog; sister, Effie Hartzog of Kennesaw, GA; and half-sister, Freddie Newman of Arroyo Grande, CA as well as adored close neighbor Mary Wesson and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

His body will be cremated. Upon his wish, there will be no services.
