Robert “Bob” Thomas Gross of High Point, NC succumbed to a brief illness, entering heaven and the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Friday, July 15, 2016.

Bob was born April 12, 1958 in St. Marys, PA to surviving parents Jay and Velma Gross.  Bob married the love of his life, Sandra “Sandy” Lee Schorg on June 12, 1982 in Arlington Heights, IL. He and wife Sandy own Carolina TubMaster in High Point, which they started together as a family business in 2000.

Bob was a gifted worship leader and bible teacher throughout his life. His favorite scripture was 1 Peter 5:7 – “Casting all your anxiety on Him, because he cares for you.” Bob dearly loved his four children and adored his eight precious grandchildren.

Surviving are wife Sandy; daughter Kimberly Anne Gross and children Jevante Elijah and Jaden Isaiah of Columbia, SC; son Joshua Ivar Gross and children Abigal Brianna, Noah Maddox, and Rhiannon Elizabeth of High Point, NC; son Adam Robert Gross (Amber) and their children Olivia Grey and Emily Maeve of Greensboro, NC; and son Caleb Benjamin Gross and his son Ezekiel Benjamin of Greensboro, NC. Also surviving are; sisters Lynda O’Connor and Mary Gross (Jeff) both of Greensboro, NC and sister Valerie Gerg of St. Marys, PA.; brothers Alan Gross (Amy), Mark Gross (Amy) of St. Marys, PA and Tom Gross (Shelia) of Kersey, PA.

Bob was preceded in death by brother James Casey Gross and sister Janet Gross Benninger, as well as two unborn children, Noah Abraham and Obadiah David.

A celebration of Bob’s life will be held Saturday, July 30 at 3:30PM at High Point City Lake Park; pavilion #6, located at 602 W. Main St., Jamestown, NC 27407.

After the celebration, there will be opportunity to share and bring food for fellowship with the Gross family.
