Ricky James Theodore Aikens

Ricky James Theodore Aikens, 64, of Trinity, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2020, at High Point Medical Center.

Born April 6, 1956, in High Point, he was a son of Gertrude Shook Aikens of Trinity and the late Jimmy Aikens. Ricky was in furniture sales and was well known in the Trinity Community. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather who was always willing to help others.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of forty-six years, Janet Anderson Aikens of the home; daughter, Brandi Hedgecock and husband Mike of Trinity; brothers, Keith Aikens and wife Wanda of Trinity, and Andy Aikens and wife Carolyn of Trinity; sisters, Beverly Morgan and husband Dennis of High Point, and Kim Ingram and husband Junior of Archdale; grandchildren, Haley Hedgecock, Morgan Hedgecock, Addison Hedgecock, and Gracie Whetsel.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Amanda Lynn Aikens in 2018.

Services will be at a later date.
