Rickey Wayne Frye

Rickey Wayne Frye, 77, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born October 13, 1948, in Liberty, he was a son of the late Robah Walter Frye and the late Helen Ruth Way Frye. Rick served in the US National Guard and was a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a retired banker.

Rick is survived by his girlfriend, Maria Kivett; daughters, Emily Ramsey and husband Trent, and Joanna Frye, and their mother, Evelyn Cummins Frye; brother, Mark Frye; sister, Angela Frye; grandchildren, Alex and Samuel.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Walter Frye and Neil Frye.
