Rick Anders

Ricky “Rick” Joseph Anders, 77, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026, at the High Point Medical Center.

Born January 11, 1949, in San Antonio, TX; he was a son of the late Joseph Jordan Anders and the late Edith Rathbrun Anders.

Rick was a faithful member of Green Street Baptist Church and the Ambassadors Life Group. He served our country in the United States Air Force and was honorably discharged.

Left to cherish his memory; his beloved wife, Vivian Myers Anders; sons, Robert Anders, Michael Anders, and Matthew Anders; daughters, Jennifer Anders, and Rebekah Flanders and husband Kenneth; brother, Daniel Anders; sister, Laurinda Wingate, and seven grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Monday, August 10, 2026, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Daniel Gardner officiating.

Burial will be in the Salisbury National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 10:00-10:45AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
