Richard Allen (Ricky) Ingram

Richard Allen Ingram “Ricky”, 55, of Trinity, North Carolina passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health, High Point Medical Center in High Point, North Carolina.

Richard was born in High Point, North Carolina to Richard and Mary Ingram on August 12, 1965.  He married Lisha Boswell on May 24, 1984 in Dillon, South Carolina.

Ricky worked many years as a carpenter and more recently as a delivery driver for Advance.  He was always a very hard worker until the end.  He was a major car enthusiast and was especially fond of Fords.  He enjoyed fishing, even if he only caught one fish after 5 hours, and loved spending time with his grandchildren.  Ricky and his wife, Lisha spent a lot of time together at Uwharrie National Forest, which was one of their favorite places. He will always be remembered as an awesome husband and father, who was always loyal and loving.

Richard is survived by his loving wife of nearly 37 years, Lisha Ingram; son, Christopher Ingram (Kaitlynn); daughter, Samantha Saint; sisters, Tonia Turnbill (James) and Tami Darr (Ken); parents Richard and Mary Ingram; grandchildren: Seth, Lexi, Colby, Cameron, Gracie and Wyatt Ford; nephews, Alex Darr, Matthew Turnbill and Michael Turnbill; and niece Emily Brown (Parker)

The family will receive visitors Saturday, May 8, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M at Bethany Baptist Church, 574 Tower Road, Thomasville, NC 27360, with a celebration of life service following at 3:00P.M.   The celebration of life will also be held at Bethany Baptist Church with Pastor Tom Fields officiating.  Richard's wife has asked that in honor of Richard's love for cars to please wear a car shirt to the services if you have one.  Also, if you have an old truck, hot rod or motorcycle please bring it, as Richard would want it to be more like a cruise in than a funeral.

In lieu of flowers please make direct donations to Richard's wife, Lisha Ingram or through a GoFund Me page set up by the family.
