Richard Virgil Garrett

Richard Virgil Garrett, 68, of High Point, passed away Monday, February 12, 2024.

Born April 2, 1955, in High Point, he was a son to Olive Lehmer Garrett and the late Charles Frank Garrett.  Richard worked in sales, was a member of Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church, and a band member of Changed Heart.  He loved music, playing guitar and trombone.  Richard played in several church bands and helped install church sound systems.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Beth) Ralston Garrett of the home; brother, David Garrett (Linda Schwoeppe) of Wilmington; sister, Marcia Dills (William) of Thomasville; nephew, Thomas Dills; and niece, Julia Dills.

Memorial Service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 21, 2024 at Greenwood Hills Wesleyan Church with Reverend Chris Langham officiating.
