Richard "Rick" Allen Brooks

Richard "Rick" Allen Brooks, 71, of High Point, passed away unexpectedly at his home, Monday, April 7, 2025.

Born January 20, 1954, in Shreveport, LA; he was a son of the late Haskell Oden Brooks and the late Vivian Louise Rice Brooks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dustin Hannah.

Left to cherish his memory; his life partner, Karen Hannah of the home; daughters, Christy Hinman of Gulf Shores, AL; Christy Rich (Buddy) of Willow Springs, NC, and Lindsey Garris (Jeremy) of Winston Salem, NC; brother, Bill Brooks (Sherry) of Baton Rouge, LA; sister, Carolyn Coleman of Alabama; grandchildren, Trevor (Lauren), Tristan, Trayce, Trenton, Trinity, Ashley, Hayley and Mikayla; and great grandchildren, Liam, Daniel, Emilia and Jaxson.

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Friday, April 11, 2025, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point Chapel with Parker Webb officiating.

Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends 10:00-10:45AM prior to the service at the funeral home.
