Rhonda Kay (Pauley) Doss

Rhonda Kay Pauley Doss, 68, of Thomasville, passed away Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at her home.

She was born January 28, 1956, to the late Hubert Elijah Pauley and the late Ruth Christina Bradley Pauley in Charleston, West Virginia. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Kennedy and father-in-law, Will Gaus.

Rhonda loved spending time with her family and friends. Jewelry, hats and dresses were her favorite things. She loved children, at times she would take jewelry off and give it to them. Rhonda had a heart of gold and loved doing for others, she would cook for her mother-in-law, Frances Gaus, daily. Cooking was a passion and she really found joy cooking with her nephew, Jayson.

Left to cherish her memory: her beloved husband, Keith Doss; daughters Honey Marie Pauley, Monica Brown, and Christina Rose Hillian; brothers Michael Pauley and Manuel Franquez and wife Karyn; sisters, Suzan Pauley Mead and husband Tim, and Tina Flores; special nephew, Jayson Doss and her beloved mother-in-law, Frances Gaus.

Memorial services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, May 11, 2024, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations High Point Chapel; 1720 Westchester Drive, High Point; with Rev. Robert Summers officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
