Reneta Pleasant

Reneta Martin Pleasant, 50, of High Point, passed away Saturday, January 31, 2026, at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice.

Born January 17, 1976, she was a daughter of Anthony Martin, Sr., and the late Betty Oliver Martin.

In addition to her father, she is survived by brothers, Anthony Martin, Jr., and Jermyn Martin; and nephew Rudy Martin, II.

She was active at God’s Church of Deliverance. She was the program director, Sunday School teacher, Praise and Worship leader and activity director.

Reneta loved Dakota, her dog, her family and friends.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister, Angela Martin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, February 14, 2026, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The viewing will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the chapel prior to the service.

Burial will be Monday, February 16, 2026, in the Eastlawn Cemetery, Raeford, North Carolina.

Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point is in charge of arrangements.
