Rena Sherrill Bowers

Rena Sherrill Bowers, 94, of High Point, passed away Friday, February 20, 2026, at High Point Medical Center.

Born April 8, 1931, in Catawba County, NC; to the late Frank Sherrill, and the late Bertha Rena Hollar Sherrill.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, David Lee Bowers; daughter, Shirley Killian; and grandchildren, Andrew Smith and Andrea Smith; and her 10 brothers and sisters.

Those left to cherish her memory; her son, Andy Smith and his wife Deborah of High Point; granddaughters, Leslie Smith and Amber Killian; and her great grandchildren, Cameron, Noah, Olivia, and Haven.

Memorial Service will be 2:00 Friday, February 27, 2026, in the Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel with Rev. Grayson King officiating.
