Red Jones

Theodore Paul “Red” Jones, Jr., 82, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Shannon Gray.

Born October 27, 1939, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Theodore Paul Jones, Sr. and the late Geneva Helen Newsome Jones. Red was a retired carpenter having worked over twenty years with J.R. Graham.

He is survived by his son, Danny Jones of High Point; daughters, Terri Hilton and husband Scott of Thomasville, and Sandy York and husband Brad of Lexington; the mother of his children, Becky Jones of Thomasville; sister, Catherine Owens and husband Paul of Sophia; grandchildren, Josh Hilton and wife Luci, Nena Moreno and husband Sergio, and Marcus Smith and wife Savannah;10 great grandchildren and best friend, Karl Watson.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded by his grandson, Daniel Jones, and brother, Pete Jones.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Tuesday, April 26, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.
