Rebecca June (Collins) Annis

June Collins Annis passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at the Piedmont Hospice Home.

She was born June 1, 1931, to Broadus and Margaret Collins. She was a 1949 graduate of Hickory High School. On July 22, 1949, she married the love of her life Norman Earl Annis. They were happily married for 67 years. June and Earl, together raised three children in Greensboro and eventually retired in Jamestown, NC for over 25 years. June was devoted to her beloved Collins family and loved her yearly trips with her sisters on many different adventures. June and Earl also enjoy many years of traveling and fun times with friends.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman Annis and her son, Donald Scott Annis.

June is survived by her daughter, Angela Foster-Johnson of High Point; Son, Gary C Annis of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Amy Chausse, Kristin Wilkinson, Amanda Foster Anderson (Ben), Tripp Foster (Maggie), Cole Foster, Morgan Johnson, Riley Annis, Chandler Annis, Parker Annis and Owen Annis, and her sister Gaynell Rumley; as well as numerous great-grandchildren and extended family.

Services are scheduled for Thursday, January 11, 2024, at 2 pm at Jamestown United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
