Randy Lee Massey

Randy Lee Massey, 64, of High Point, passed away Thursday, December 28, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 31, 1959, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Ernest Aurelius Massey, Sr. and the late Fannie Mae Hopkins Massey.  Randy was a food service driver and grew up at Cloverdale Baptist Church.  He loved Minnesota Vikings football, NC State Wolfpack Basketball, and NASCAR.  Randy was a kind-hearted, friendly, never met a stranger kind of person.

He is survived by his sisters, Brenda Massey of High Point, Elizabeth Griffin of Thomasville, and Mary Cooper of High Point; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Ernest Massey, Jr., and Jerry Wayne Massey.

Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 3, 2024, in the High Point Chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations.

The family will visit with friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.

A private inurnment will be at a later date at Holly Hill Memorial Park.
