Ralph Edward Carlson, 80, of High Point, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018, at Moses H. Cone Hospital.

Born February 24, 1938, in Chassell, Michigan, he was a son of the late Edward J. Carlson and the late Bertha Niemela Carlson.

Mr. Carlson is survived by his sons, James Carlson and wife Cheryl of High Point, David Carlson and wife Benny of Thomasville, Stephen Carlson of Greensboro, and Michael Carlson of Greensboro; brothers, James Carlson and wife Karen of Siler City, and Gerald Carlson and wife Barbara of Clovis, California; five grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Monday, July 16, 2018, at Floral Garden Park with Rev. Tommy Vestrat officiating.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM prior to the service at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
