Ann Petruska

Priscilla “Ann” Kiser Petruska, 81, of Archdale, passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at GrayBrier Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born March 5, 1944, in Guilford County, she was a daughter to the late Robert D. Kiser and Helen Lawson Kiser. She attended Allen Jay High School, as well as Orleans American High School in Orleans, France, where she met her former husband of 28 years, Walter Petruska, Sr. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, genealogy, and most recently spending time with her neighbors, friends at Archdale Senior Center, and her church family.

She was a loving mother to her daughter, Renee Driggers and husband Brian of Trinity; son, Walter Petruska, Jr. and wife Becky of St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; brothers, Robert D. Kiser, Sr. (Rhonda), and Michael Kiser; sister, Tamara Morgan (John); she was very proud and loved her grandchildren, Kathryn Peters (Ellzie), Lance Driggers, Caroline Petruska, Drake Colvin and Cheyenne Colvin; and her great grandson, Anakin Haley.

Memorial Service will be 11:00AM Monday, August 4, 2025, at Whispering Hope Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Carmichael officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
