Phyllis Ann Jones

Phyllis Ann Burrow Jones, 91, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at Moses Cone Hospital.

Born August 4, 1934, in Guilford County to the late Kester Burrow and the late Alene Corn Burrow.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jaime L. Jones and his wife Trish; fiancé, Robert Rogers, and her siblings, Eloise Dailey, Ray Burrow, and Vanessa Burrow.

She is survived by sons, Tim R. Jones (Dana), Randall Jones (Lisa), Martin Jones (Magi King); daughter-in-law, Susie Hamrick Jones; sister, Betty Martin (Gary); brother, Greg Burrow (Judy); grandchildren, Loren, Arden Godek (Andrew), Alex Jones (Rese), Carley, Madeline, Kirstin, and Mason; great grandchildren, Elliot, Zekiah, Lila, August, Arbuth, and a baby girl on the way. Also, honorary daughters, Vicki Hayes (Michael), and Robin Hayes (Danny); their children, Michele (Jason), Jennifer, Danny (Bernadette), and Kris; and their grandchildren, Tristin and Bishop.

In honor of her life the family will have a Celebration of Life service at Laurel Oaks Christian Church; 1001 Old Plank Rd., High Point; 2:00-4:00PM Saturday, August 8, 2026.

She will be inurned at Guil-Rand Memorial Park Cemetery next to her fiancé, Robert.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to your favorite animal rescue in honor of her cat, Cody, whom she rescued from Guilford County Animal Shelter; it will fill her heart with joy and thankfulness.
