Philip William Dailey

Philip William Dailey, 70, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at the Hospice of the Piedmont in High Point.

He was born September 10, 1953, in Greensboro, NC to the late William Booth Dailey and the late Audrey Mont Dailey. On November 1, 2012, he married Terri Peele Dailey and together they had over eleven wonderful years together.

Philip was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Known as a “Jack of all Trades”; Philip was a fixer of almost anything he put his hands to, he could fix plumbing, electrical, masonry and basically anything. He loved the beach and going sailing; in fact, he built not one but two sailboats by hand. He worked with the Boy Scouts as well as coaching several baseball teams throughout the years.

Left to cherish his memory: his beloved wife Terri Peele Dailey; sons, Cyrus “Cy” Dailey of Palm Bay, FL, Wyatt Dailey and wife Savannah of Thomasville and Richard Johnson and wife Lindsay of Albemarle; brother, Thomas Dailey and wife Terri; sisters, Janet McDonald and husband Charley, Ricki Adams, Margaret Cooper and husband Rick and Edie Cooke and husband Ed; grandson, Zayden Johnson; along with several nieces and nephews.

There are no formal services planned.

Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point, is in charge of the arrangements.
