Peggy Rush Hill, 81, of Cedar Post St., passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born March 31, 1935 in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest Rush and the late Effie Mae Kinley Rush. Mrs. Hill retired from AT&T and was a charter member of Faith Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Tim Mitchell and wife Tabitha, Tommy Mitchell and wife Carolyn all of Archdale and Terry Mitchell and wife Anna of Trinity; sisters, Cleo Myers of Archdale, Mary Lou George of High Point and Ann Poarch of Valdese; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Mitchell in 2006 and her second husband, Johnny Hill in 2010, sister, Paraleigh Welborn; brothers, Ermon Rush, Ken Rush and Harold Rush.

Funeral services will be conducted at Noon Friday, October 7, 2016 at Faith Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Park.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:45 AM Friday prior to the service at the church.
