Peggy Smith Briles, 84, of Archdale, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born June 7, 1933, in Davidson County, she was a daughter of the late Frank Smith and the late Irene Strader Smith. Mrs. Briles was retired hairdresser and a member of Charity Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Charles William Briles, Jr. of the home; sons, Rev. Mickey Briles and wife Deana of Archdale, and Dr. Charles Briles, III and wife Aleta of AZ; brothers, Richard Smith and wife Peggy of Denton, Archie Smith of Denton, and Roger Smith and wife Doris of Asheboro; sister, Dolores Briles and husband Dwain of Asheboro; grandchildren, Colton Briles, and Caroline Briles.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Friday, November 3, 2017, at Charity Baptist Church with Rev. Elton Wilburn officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
