Pauline Robertson Hayworth, 94, of High Point died Friday August 25, 2017 at her home. She had been in declining health for seven years.

Mrs. Hayworth born September 3, 1922 the daughter of the late Joseph and Mattie Whitesell Robertson of Burlington, NC. She graduated from E.M. Holt High School.

A member of Oakview United Methodist Church where she served as a teacher and superintendent of the children’s department. She was active in the WSCS of the church and treasure for 34 years and was a homemaker. On June 5, 1949, she married William Stanley Hayworth who preceded her in death. Also preceded in death is one sister, Gertrude Thornton and a brother Richard Robertson.

Surviving is a daughter, Paula Hutchins and husband Donnie of Thomasville; son, William Dean Hayworth and wife Karen of High Point; brother, Joe Robertson of Burlington; three grandchildren, Jonathan Smith of Thomasville; Ashley Abernethy and husband Alex of Maiden; Kellie Bowers and husband Robbie of High Point; great grandson, Parker Smith and great granddaughter, Addison Abernethy.

Graveside service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday August 29, 2017 at Guilford Memorial Park Cemetery by the Rev. Jeff Martin.

The family would like to express our appreciation for the caregivers that took care of our mother and Hospice of the Piedmont.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to Christ United Methodist Church, 1300 University Pkwy. High Point, NC 27262.
