Paul Wiley Smith, 58, of Archdale, passed away Sunday, April 30, 2017, at the Meridian Center.

Born December 11, 1958, in Guildford County, he was a son of the late George W. Smith and the late Marjorie McGee Smith. Mr. Smith was a retired tow truck driver and of the Baptist faith.

He is survived by his children, Jaclyn Smith of Ellerbe, and Matthew Smith and wife Shayla of Burlington; brothers, George Smith and wife Ann of Archdale, Gene Smith and wife Diane of Greensboro, and Gary Smith and wife Phyllis of Thomasville; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Hasty Baptist Church, 161 Joe Moore Rd., Thomasville, NC with Rev. Ronnie Beane officiating.

The family will receive friends following the service.
