Paul Enscore

William Paul Enscore, Jr., 78, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, at his home.

Born May 12, 1946, in Davidson, County, he was a son of the late William Paul Inscore, Sr. and the late Geneva Caplinger Inscore. Paul was a retired self-employed contractor.

Dad leaves behind close friends who were like the brothers and sisters he didn't have. He told me that you can consider yourself lucky to have one person who will take your call in the middle of the night and only ask where to pick you up. Dad had more than one person in his life like this, and he would do the same for them. When Mom was diagnosed with cancer, he went to every doctor's appointment, sat with every chemo, and made sure she was as comfortable as possible. He was amazing for her through to the end. He was the best dad I could ever ask for and I will cherish all my memories, all the things he taught me, and the example he set. I never doubted I was loved by my parents. Dad was an amazing human being and he will be missed. Love ya like a rock - es.

He is survived by his daughter, Erica Thomsen and husband John of Charlotte; grandsons, Tyler Thomsen and Hunter Thomsen.

Paul was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Davis Enscore

A private memorial will be planned after the holidays.
