Patsy Hodgin Rush, 84, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2019, at her home.

Born June 14, 1935, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Henry Hodgin and the late Lillie Black Hodgin. Mrs. Rush retired from Sara Lee following fifty-three years of service and attended First Christian Church.

She survived by her daughter, Debbie Rich of High Point; grandchildren, Chris Beeson and wife Shelly, Matthew Rich and wife Julie; great-grandchildren, Connor Beeson and Austin Rich; and brother, Tommy Hodgin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ken Rush.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 20, 2019, at Hilliard Memorial Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Deep River Friends Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
