Patsy Hayes Rhodes

Patsy Hayes Rhodes, 72, of High Point, passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital.

Born December 30, 1944 in Gallipolis, OH, she was a daughter of the late James Hayes and the late Gloria Burnette Hayes Angel. Mrs. Rhodes was a retired receptionist and a member of the Salvation Army.

She is survived by her husband, David Rhodes of the home; son, Jamie Smith and wife Susan of SC; daughters, Debbie Phillips and husband Donnie of Lexington and Tracey Smith Parker and husband Rodney of High Point; brother, Eddie Angel of Thomasville; sisters, Brenda McHenry of Kernersville, Sharon Duncan of MD, and Terri Brewer of Thomasville; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Alvin Angel and son, Jeffrey Smith, two sisters, Cindy Campbell and Judy Bartram..

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, January 13, 2017 at the Salvation Army with Rev. Bobby Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 7:30 PM Thursday at Wright Cremation & Funeral Service.
