Patsy McDowell McKenzie, 87, of High Point, passed away March 6, 2018, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Born June 15, 1930, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late Colon McDowell and the late Lena Mae Dix McDowell. Mrs. McKenzie retired from the City of High Point and was a member of Forest Hills Presbyterian Church. She dearly loved her animals.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Berube; and grandson, Blake William Berube both of High Point.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles S. McKenzie, Jr.

Memorial services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Monday, March 12, 2018, at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church with Rev. Joe Blankenship officiating. Inurnment will follow in the church columbarium.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church.
