Patsy Ann Kearns Kimsey, 81, of Skeet Club Rd., passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at her home.

She was born in High Point on April 30, 1935.  A graduate of High Point High School, Patsy went on to have a long and successful career with Western Electric/AT&T beginning at their Merritt Drive, Greensboro location September, 1956. She later retired from their accounting department at The Guilford Center, December, 1990.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold E. Kimsey and her parents, Earl Clifford Kearns and Pearl Davis Kearns.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Thompson and husband Robert of Canton, GA; granddaughter, Meredith and husband Jeremy Starnes of Mission Viejo, CA, granddaughter, Laura and Benjamin Odum of Lebanon, TN; son, Edward Kimsey and wife Julie of High Point, grandson, Ben; and great-granddaughter Laeklyn Starnes as well as a sister, Elaine Wampler and her husband Norman of High Point.

A celebration of life service will be conducted at 3:00 pm, Sunday, June 19, 2016 at First Christian Church of High Point on Deep River Road. Burial will follow in Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm Sunday, prior to the service at the church.
