Patsy Ann (Hodges) Dougherty

Patsy H. Dougherty was born in Mt. Airy, NC. She passed away at her shared home with her son and daughter in law at 131 Little Doe Pl SW, Supply, NC 28462.

She has lived in High Point, Archdale area most of her life. She retired from City of Archdale in 2010.

She was predeceased by her husband John Richard Doughtery, Jr. (Johnny), her mom Ellie R. Hodges, her dad Albert (Bill) Clyde Hodges, her daughter Penny Soles, and her grand-daughter Amanda Bean.

Patsy has 2 sisters, Connie McCoy (Wayne) and Sue Waterhouse (Dickie), and 2 brothers Mitchell Hodges (Vickie) and J.C. Hodges.

Patsy has 4 kids Billy (Lynn) Coggins, Missy Fowler, Cheryl (Earl) Foley, and John Richard (Bubber) Doughtery, III. She has 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A long-time friend of 50+ years Louise “Cookie” Branning (Mike).

Pallbearers are Kevin Coggins, AJ Fowler, Clayton Fox, Jason Lain, Mark Atkinson, Darryl Durham. Honorable pallbearers are Eli Page, Skylar Fowler, Joey Schronce and Gary Schronce.

She has been a member of Providence Wesleyan Church for many years.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday, December 14, 2024, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point with Pastor Harold Bumby officiating.  Burial will follow in the mausoleum at Guilford Memorial Park.

The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
