Norman Staley Mills, 88, of Trinity, passed away Friday, May 5, 2017, at Universal Health Care in Fuquay-Varina.
Born March 9, 1929, in Apex, he was a son of the late Ulon Staley Mills and the late Dora Moore Mills. Mr. Mills was a veteran of the US Army and earned a master’s degree from NC State University. He was a retired Dean at Davidson County Community College and a member of Green Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Mills is survived by his wife Eleanor (Pat) Smith Mills of Trinity; son, Paul Mills and wife Paula of Holly Springs; daughters, Kathy Gencay and husband Dave of TN, and Patti Owen of Trinity; sisters, Dot Mills of Apex, Anna Kilzer of MO, Nancy Olive and husband Ross of Apex, and Jacque Smith of Apex; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services will be conducted at 12:00 PM Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at Floral Garden Park with Rev. C.W. Moss officiating.
