Norma "Jeanie" Jean (Ledwell) Mishoe

Norma “Jeanie” Jean Ledwell Mishoe, 82, of High Point, passed away Tuesday, January 30, 2024, at Richland Place in Greensboro.

Born May 22, 1941, in Guilford County, she was a daughter of the late William Clyde Ledwell and the late Esther Daisy McDowell Ledwell.  Jeanie worked as a seamstress in the upholstery industry.  She was hardworking in everything she did and loved her children and grandchildren.  Jeanie loved playing spades and solitaire, watching UNC Basketball, ice skating, gymnastics, Carolina Panthers, and most of all, she loved Elvis.

She is survived by a son, Kevin Mishoe (Lindy) of High Point; daughter, Debbie Ayscue (Tony) of High Point; brother, Mike Ledwell (Velma) of High Point; sister, Brenda Freeman of Thomasville; grandchildren, Zachary Ayscue and Justin Ayscue; great grandchildren, Zachary M., Makaila, Madalynn, Jace, Julian; and her doggie, Chloe.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, February 2, 2024, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Crawford Crenshaw officiating.  Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park Cemetery.

The family will visit with friends from 10:00 AM until 10:45 AM prior to the service.
