Norma Frazier Dunn 92, of High Point, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Hospice Home in High Point.

Born September 25, 1933, in High Point NC, she was the daughter of the late Worth Frazier and the late Elizabeth Frazier.

Norma worked and had fond memories of North State telephone company as a telephone operator and later with the Junior League Bargain Boutique in High Point, as manager.

Her most acclaimed career was that of a homemaker for many years.

She was a member of Abbott's Creek Missionary Baptist church where she taught Sunday School, investing in the lives of the women she taught, referring to them as her "girls".

Norma loved her family and always had time for each one, investing in their lives.

She never stopped learning, later in life she learned how to use a smartphone in order to stay in touch daily with texts that included gif images and emoji's.

Her signature whistle will never be forgotten, she knew how to get your attention.

Giving to others brought her joy in many ways such as cooking for others and staying in touch. Norma enjoyed reading the Bible and singing hymns. The beauty of God's creation was something she enjoyed in seeing sunsets, the moon and stars as well as bunnies and birds. She enjoyed the outdoors and swinging.

She told her family often, "Find something each day to bring you good laugh"

She is survived by daughters Angie Dunn Russell (Tim) of Winston Salem, and Aimee Dunn Troutman (Dale) of Leland; brother Kenneth Frazier; grandchildren, Josh Russell, Kaitlin Troutman Sutton and Katherine Troutman Jeffers; Great grandchildren, Harper Sutton and Brooks Sutton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Matthew L. Dunn, and two sisters.

No services will be held, in accordance with her wishes.
