Nancy Peyton Nance, 79, of High Point, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born November 14, 1939, in Brooklyn, New York, she was a daughter of the late Edwin Aubrey Peyton, Jr. and the late Pattie Watson Peyton. Mrs. Nance was a retired medical assistant with Tillis Foot Care and a member of Christ United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Robert Neely “Scooter” Nance, III, and wife Sally of High Point; daughters, Patricia Elizabeth “Pattie” Nance of High Point, and Paige Nance McGlaughlin and husband Stewart of High Point; sisters, Patricia Petree of Clemmons, and Adelaide “Tinky” Hamilton of Advance; granddaughters, Taylor Mahlke and husband Justin, Sydney Stering and husband Carson, Peyton McGlaughlin, and Emory “Emmie” McGlaughlin.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Neely Nance, Jr.

Memorial services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 26, 2019, at Christ United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends following the service.
