Nancy Meredith Grooms

Nancy Faye Meredith Grooms, 82, of High Point, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025, at Pine Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born February 25, 1943, in Guilford County, she was daughter to the late Albert Meredith and the late Ochia Kinley Meredith. Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and avid reader. She sewed homemade quilts and loved her banana splits, enjoyed fishing and had a spirited personality.

She is survived by daughter, Tracy Wagoner and husband Frankie of Thomasville; son, Sonny Grooms and wife Lisa of Archdale; grandchildren, Taylor Wagoner, Savannah Wagoner, Hunter Grooms, Hayley Heath (Jacob), and Hannah Grooms; and her great grandchildren, Benji Heath and Brock Heath; niece, Christa Halsey (Kevin); two great nephews, Justin and Ryan Halsey; great niece, Trisha Wright (CJ); two great great nephews, Daniel and Phillip Wright; and former husband and a dear friend, Thomas Grooms (Barbara).

Funeral Service will be 11:00AM Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Allendale Baptist Church; 900 E. Springfield Rd, High Point; with Pastor David Younger officiating.

Burial will follow in the Floral Garden Memorial Park cemetery.

The family will receive friends 5:00-6:30PM Monday, December 29, 2025, at Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point chapel.
