Nancy Lillian (Dusenberry) Burton

Nancy Lillian Dusenberry Burton, 75, of Thomasville, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at Hospice Home at High Point.

Born April 4, 1948, in Statesville, NC, she was a daughter of the late George Dusenberry, Jr and Lina Kistler Dusenberry.  Nancy worked as a dental hygienist.  She loved gardening with beautiful flowers and loved being in the sun. Nancy always had a generous heart for those in need, and was  always willing to help meet those needs.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Walser (Rusty) of Clemmons; brother Reid Dusenberry (Cathy) of Burlington; grandchild, Kanaan Ponchak of Clemmons; and special friend, Tony Clark.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Tuesday, December 12, 2023, in the High Point chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations with Pastor Matthew Sink officiating.  A private burial will be held at Floral Garden Park Cemetery at a later date.

The family will visit with friends following the service.
