Nancy Adkins, 82, of Winston Salem, formerly of Roanoke, passed away Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at Piedmont Hospice in High Point, North Carolina.

Born December 29,1933 in Roanoke, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Cabel Swanson Bowe, and the late Bonnie Doss Bowe.  She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and traveling.

She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Donita Adkins of Radford, VA.; son, Allan Ray Adkins and wife Tracy Marie Adkins of Winston Salem, NC; grandchildren Erin Elise Adkins, Hannah Elizabeth Bowe Adkins, Emily Roseanne Horne Adkins, Meredith Elizabith-Marie Bumgarner, Tyler Roth Bumgarner, Jordan Garrett Bumgarner, and James Yarroh Kamara.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 23, 2016 in the Abbey at Sherwood Memorial Park in Salem, VA.
